I am working with my colleagues in order to ensure the safety of the Third District, South Carolina, and the United States.

I strongly support giving the Secretary discretion to waive the visa requirement when doing so is in the interest of our National security.

This legislation now awaits a vote in the Senate.

I am particularly interested in knowing whether there is a way to improve the vetting process to identify people that seek to do us harm.
