This recovery is the most disappointing recovery in half a century.

The fact of the matter is, the number of adults in the workforce right now compared to the population has been stalled out about the same as it was nearly six, seven years ago.

Even in this Administration, you can't claim jobs, you created it, and then ignore those who can't find a job.

We are missing 5 million jobs, more than that, in the economy.

We have been stuck in second gear for way too long.

Sally Supplemental, though, because there is a glidepath, gets an extra $650 a month.

The workforce has never been more accommodative.

There is a lot of common ground in this hearing today.

We want to eliminate fraud in the system.

The biggest decision they make is for that first job back.

I am proud to yield 4 minutes to the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Kelly), a new member of the Ways and Means Committee and a businessperson who understands the openness and transparency required to improve Medicare.

Together, these two bipartisan and noncontroversial changes would unlock billions of foreign capital for job-creating investment here at home.

But I am asking about signing. So the answer is no?

I just want to make sure, again, as we look to work together to put patients ahead of politics, you are saying, yes, the President would definitely sign legislation other than extending the subsidies to the Federal exchange.

Health care is about patients, not politics.

The answer is yes. Yes, he would sign legislation other than extending it, correct?

A one-size-fits-all, government-run health care system is not the answer.

Even though the United States has been technically in a recovery for more than five-and-a-half years, our economy remains stuck in second gear.

No Federal program should pay more than a job. Two, no Federal program should trap Americans in poverty.

A good-paying job is the best solution to income inequality and ensures the ladder of success is open to every American willing to get a skill and work hard.
