Black voters are practical. So at the end of the day, I don’t know that they’re going to have to be the most excited. But I will tell you that you always want voters to be excited.

I said as a senate candidate that I’d be focused on the down ballot and my plan to do that hasn’t changed.

It might be uncomfortable for some people on this committee to hear about the true history of America, and I hate that for them.
