If we arm Ukraine, what will Russia do?

I would think there would be a date certain that you are going to commit if you want to make sure that we are going to be there for you.

I think you made a number of excellent points, including the need to have a clear and comprehensive strategy from the administration before we move forward with an authorization for the use of military force.

if they failed to adhere to global standards and norms and values... then we need to rethink our ties.

When somebody sits at the table of the United States of America, they better be sitting there fully recognizing international law and at least having a recognition of internationally accepted norms and behaviors.

I really feel that you personally have set a new bar for leadership and accountability and responsibility for the problems that you encountered.

We want to be and I want to figure out how we are going to do that.

I would argue the point that we are still at war in Afghanistan.

I wish they were building a VA hospital there. But it is alarming that we are spending $1.1 billion for an Army medical center.

I will say an issue that has consumed this committee has been accountability and the culture at the VA.

Thank you for the great job that you do and that your team does.

You have been very responsive to us to meet personally.

I am looking for an option, some way that we can work together to get past what is unacceptable to my community.

I don't know that we are asking those whose family members were already interred or buried at that cemetery who did not have a choice in whether it was converted from grass to rocks.

The cemetery in El Paso at Fort Bliss is in many ways remarkable.

I want to thank her and the team in El Paso who do a phenomenal job.
