If we pass a piece of healthcare reform legislation without sufficiently addressing the issue of healthcare spending, then we will have failed.

That's a silly way of dealing with it, but a way to at least get it started, because, in essence, the Canadian government and its citizens are taking advantage of our citizens by virtue of setting prices that are lower than competitive…

Delivery-system change is going to be even harder and more difficult to accomplish than changing coverage.

I think the OCC is in many ways creating far greater problems in our country than would otherwise exist.

I resent that, and I want to figure out a way of solving that.
