I am always a fan of public-private partnerships to meet the problems and the challenges of this country, especially in the housing area.

Housing is critical and Opportunity Zones allows this to happen through developers who are allowed to invest and create new housing in these communities.

The backlog for repairs is over $70 billion, so we have a lot of work that needs to be done to make sure that even accessible and safe public housing is up to code for our seniors.
