General Petraeus has told me, you, and everyone else he cannot win the fight in Afghanistan without you.
Would it be smart if there was another uprising in Iran where the people took to the streets that we stand behind the people in the streets and impose a no-fly zone in Iran?
They were met with a very brutal response, and they were upset about the election, which I think most of us would agree was probably not free, fair, and transparent.
Now, come 2012, there's a lot still to be done in Iraq, and you will be the lead organization.
I will do everything I can on the Republican side in the Senate to make sure that we protect those funds.
