Thank you, Congressman Trone, and thank each of you for being here today and raising such important issues.

This requires investing in foreign aid and diplomacy, not cutting the budget for them.

We have to be prepared, strong, and agile--counterterrorism strategy.

That is really encouraging.

The fiscal year 2020 budget request includes approximately $10 billion for cybersecurity.

I am requesting an additional $50 million to the President's budget request to accelerate the operations of this vital asset.

I also support the President's budget request for Yucca Mountain to ensure the country has a safe and permanent repository for management of nuclear waste.

I support the request of the President for $79 million for the Surplus Plutonium Disposition Project to support the dilute and dispose strategy to remove the plutonium from the site.

Thank you for including in the budget the funding to the Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative [AMC] to be located very likely at the University of South Carolina Aiken.

And I appreciate your clarity on this.

And so the justification for the two-pronged approach is, you feel, very clear.

H Canyon is just so critical for our country and we want to make sure that it is properly used.

What is the plan to relocate the direct shipment of the half metric ton of plutonium?

I want to remind everybody, we have one legislative day after today before we leave, and we will not return until April the 29th.

I can't understand why our Office of Management and Budget, controlled by my party, didn't submit a request for supplemental assistance, which I think is absolutely unacceptable.

I think it is extremely irresponsible for the Office of Management and Budget to not submit an official request for supplemental disaster assistance funding.

I'm absolutely convinced that the best future for the region is a European future.

President Trump rightfully withdrew from the flawed Iran nuclear agreement.
