I mean, I don't know why on God's green earth the President of the United States has time to or wants to wage cultural wars.

But yes, the issue is about race, the issue is about race in this country and race relations in this country and even more specifically structure inequalities that we have.

This isn't about disrespecting the national anthem. This isn't about disrespecting the flag or disrespecting the military.

This wasn't a dog whistle. This was a bullhorn and we're going to keep protesting.

It's not appropriate for the White House to go after private company or private individual and talk about that it's a fireable offense.

Let's not forget that he was one of the first cheerleaders in the birther movement against Barack Obama.

But he didn't want to even touch that.

This serves -- this does not serve to meet any end of justice whatsoever. I mean you're pardoning a racist.

There are a large group of people who are terrorized by Sheriff Arpaio. There are immigrants, undocumented immigrants, there are people who actually well legitimate citizens of this country who are ripped apart, had to show their papers…

Today, you know, regardless of the man, Donald Trump pardoned racism.

Barack Obama during his pardon process had what the White House affectionately called a double blind process.

I think Bob Corker was correct. I think it's also fair to say that an element of this actually it delves off of being a strategy into being unhinged.

I think that we've had enough time to judge whether or not it's a smart strategy or not. And I think he gets a 'D-', I mean, the only reason it's not an 'F' is because it's highly entertaining.

I want people to set aside those prejudices and actually understand what it means to be a patriot.

I think this is about hate and bigotry versus what we want to be as a country.

Donald Trump is a morally bankrupt individual. I think we all knew that. I think individuals who supported him knew that.

I firmly believe wholeheartedly that Donald Trump is a white supremacist in chief.

I actually do think that it was very easy for the President of the United States to actually be on the right side of history.

I also think, though, that many Americans who are persecuted by the same neo-Nazis... are not surprised by this at all.

The fact is, we know the president misled the public. What happens when we need to trust him?

What we know to be the truth is that this meeting was not about adoptions or Russian adoptions. We also know that the president dictated that statement. What did we deduce from that? That the president lied, period.

There are many parents right now who fear their children going out, having encounters with law enforcement because they may not come home.

I just want Donald Trump to care about people who look like me.

It's a very troubling statement when you see the leader of the free world condone that statement.
