there are several hundred thousand teachers presently working at other jobs because they cannot find teaching jobs where they want to teach. It would be amazing if we all of a sudden decided we ought to create 100,000 more since there is no study that indicates that there is any shortage now or will be in the near future. As I said, hundreds of thousands of teachers are now working at other jobs.
