I rise in strong support of the gentleman's amendment, and I thank him for taking the initiative and doing what he has done. Enforcing existing laws that keeps guns out of the hands of prohibited individuals is a goal we all share. The bill already includes funding over 6 percent above the President's request for NICS grants. The level is $40 million above the fiscal year 2013 level. We can maybe even get it up higher than the gentleman has when we go to conference. I think what he is doing is very important. I am going to ask for a roll call vote on this. I think it is very, very important. It is not enough to just talk about something; I think it is important we do it. I thank the gentleman and strongly support his amendment. I yield back the balance of my time.
