I cannot tolerate any idea to suggest that regulations are the main factor in undermining our economy.

I consider them the economic engine of this country, and the potential job creators going into the 21st century.

I do not agree with the premise of this hearing that the regulatory scheme hinders, if you will, the economic opportunities of Americans.

We should not be penalizing the Pakistani people.
