I think it is important to put on the record that, as a member of the Budget Committee, having to suffer through a Republican budget that took $2 trillion out of Medicare and Social Security on the basis of having to fund the $2 trillion 1 percent benefit tax cut that was proposed and passed by this Republican majority, I think that is worthy in the midst of talking about internet sales tax.
