“President Trump has launched us into a war of choice with Iran, with no clear explanation. Yet we know some of the consequences. Six U.S. servicemembers have been killed, dozens injured. More than 40,000 of our troops, including hundreds of Pennsylvanians, are at risk. Thousands of American citizens are stranded. I do not mourn the loss of Ayatollah Khamenei. Yet I am greatly concerned about the danger and destruction that Mr. Trump has unleashed in the Middle East.
