I believe we can solve hunger. I believe that we can take what works, and we have seen a lot of things that are working across the country.

The idea that we would be threatening to blow up our credit rating over the school lunch program or over SNAP does not make any sense to me.

Hunger is not a Republican or Democrat issue. It is all of our issue that we have to take on.

I appreciate your leadership, and Senator Braun's, with the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.
