I was the only Democrat that said that's dumb and terrible. Why would you shut down our entire government because we aren't able to win enough elections to make the kind of changes that we all want to?

I’m proud to stand for America, civilization, democracy, and Israel is our special ally that represents all of that in that region.

I would never describe myself in that way. There are important problems that a government is necessary to address.

The problem is Iran. That’s the problem.
