I`m a scientist, I`m a doctor, I`m not a politician, but somehow this is all gotten tangled up, and people have lost their grip on evidence of what ought to be used to make a decision like this.

I never used the word 'cure' for a lot of diseases, but sickle cell can be cured with some of these treatments, and we need to make sure people have access to them.
