I am not quoting him exactly, but it was a brief statement during his campaign, and it was in writing that he would not cut Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. I think a lot of people had forgotten about that third one. One of the tasks that we have in the Senate is to make sure that, when a statement like that is made, any President is held accountable to that promise.
