“I now will comment on the pending nomination of a very distinguished lawyer to the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, Miguel A. Estrada, who has been nominated by President Bush for the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Mr. Estrada has an extraordinary background. He received his law degree from Harvard, magna cum laude, in 1986. He received his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Columbia College.
