As a combat veteran, I am convinced Ted Cruz is the leader who will keep us safe, support our troops, and defend our Nation.

Senator Cruz understands that the essence of 'peace through strength' is having the strength to maintain peace, and he's ready to do this hard work.

I am proud that this week Ted Cruz showed us again why he is the candidate best qualified to be commander-in-chief.

The major risk is regulatory. They need certainty.

It is--it's a very challenging issue that, you know, we have delays, we have these challenges, and it seems the only answer is more money, more time, more money, more time.

These are the kind of things that absolutely must be definitely determined before--if we're going to have a robust commercial segment that can augment our numerical weather models and save money for the taxpayers, and that's my concern…

Some of the concerns that I have are the delay of the GOES-R satellite program from March of 2016 to October of 2016.

We have private companies that are preparing to launch satellites that can do things like GPS radio occultation and hyperspectral sensing.

We're getting higher throughput and more capacity than we've ever seen before for our space-based communication architecture.

Commercial industry has been providing massive amounts of capacity for our war fighters all over the world.

I'm very excited about the prospects before our country.

The Renewable Fuel Standard is damaging to the environment, which was new to me, by the way, in this hearing and it actually increases carbon emissions.

If terrorists or rogue nations wanted to take control of the corn market, we would defend the corn market as well.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, eight years after the current RFS was expanded by Congress... these promises have yet to materialize.

The RFS is an example of the federal government picking winners and losers by forcing the use of renewables in transportation fuels.

The RFS mandate is unworkable even with EPA's dubious assertion that E15 can safely be used in select vehicles.

It's time for Congress to fix the problems caused by this outdated and ill-conceived law and pass legislation to repeal the RFS.

The RFS is an egregious perversion of the free market.

The federal government's RFS mandate has led to multiple negative consequences, propelled by willful disregard for consumer preferences.
