America's elections must be lawful, fair, and free from fraud.…

I absolutely do. That's why I think it's so important that you're having this hearing and I think it's so important for Congress to pass the SAVE Act for it to become effective immediately.
I don't want my Federal tax dollars being spent to turn out voters because I know the voters that they're going to turn out.
The SAVE Act has become absolutely vital to protecting our elections from illegal voting by noncitizens.
The problem is that we don't care enough about our voting system to make certain that we treat it with the respect that it deserves.
Disqualify him from future office, secure a conviction and have that be the broad resolution of the whole problem Trump.
I think there is a serious separation of powers issue when the legislative branch of government is dependent upon the executive branch to enforce a subpoena.
I would urge Congress to repeal the Chevron deference doctrine that provides that when litigants appear before the courts...
I think that Congress needs to eliminate the deliberative process privilege altogether.
But my basic belief is that we should just eliminate that application process altogether.
Congress has got to reassert its authority over this agency because it feels as though it is capable of completely thumbing its nose at the people's representatives.
the IRS was determined and dogged and relentless in the denial of the First Amendment rights of hundreds of citizens groups and thousands of law-abiding, patriotic Americans.
I just think the whole process is completely broken, and it just needs to be eliminated.
I think it's become the tail wagging the dog of our country, and I think it's a detriment to our Nation.
if you want to be sure that there's no targeting of citizens groups, you eliminate the process of having to ask the IRS for permission.
I don't think there's any question that there should be a special prosecutor.
The IRS scandal is not over. It is continuing to this day, and the Department of Justice investigation is a sham.
Until I realized that that had become the party of the government and not the people.
The IRS scandal is not just a boneheaded bunch of bureaucrats in some remote office.
But let's not go away from this hearing with any debate about whether or not the facts exist as they exist.
