this procedure is simply wrong. A compassionate society should not promote a procedure that is gruesome and inflicts pain on the victim. We have humane methods of capital punishment, and we have humane treatment of prisoners. We even have laws to protect animals. It seems to me we should have some standards for abortion as well. This procedure is only performed in a few places around the country. Unfortunately one of those places is in my district. A local city council in Kettering, OH, took the rare step and passed a resolution supporting the override of the President's veto.
