There have been efforts by the gentleman from Michigan and me in the Committee on Commerce, and by the gentleman from New Jersey to deal with the fraud questions, because we can save $80 or $90 billion in the next 7 years simply by attacking fraud, waste and abuse in a systematic way. That is the first step, not making these major cuts in Medicare in order to give tax breaks to the wealthiest people in our country.
