The clerk will report the resolution by title. The legislative clerk read as follows: A resolution (S. Res. 538) expressing the condolences of the Senate to the families of James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and condemning the terrorist acts of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.
