Think about what Senator Whitehouse just said. A U.S. company that made an additive to gasoline filed suit against a public health law that the Canadian legislative body passed because they believed in clean air, and under NAFTA that company in the United States sued the Canadians. The Canadian taxpayers had to pay the company and repeal their public health law. I thought this was a democracy. Think about that multiplied by how many times--about what Senator Warren talked about her in piece in the Washington Post today.
