I thank the chairman. Under section 3505 the Director of the Office of Management and Budget has a duty to, in consultation with agency heads, set annual agency goals to reduce information collection burdens. Would the chairman agree that the Secretary of Commerce may take this opportunity to reduce the paperwork burden on persons relating to the compilation and publication of censuses of agriculture and irrigation, of manufactures, of mineral industries, and other businesses, including the distributive trades, service establishments, and transportation?
