I hope that one of the outcomes of this report that Senator Carper and I worked on and of the hearing today is to prioritize this issue.

We needed, in my view, to have consolidation of these responsibilities to better protect our country.

We need her. She is the nominee for Deputy Secretary, a key management role.

This is one that is not going to be the silver bullet to stop drug abuse in our country, but it will stop some of this poison from coming in...
