Mike Turner is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Ohio's 10th congressional district since 2003. He has been involved in various committees, focusing primarily on national security and defense issues. Throughout his tenure, Turner has advocated for policies aimed at strengthening the military and enhancing the safety of American citizens. His work has included addressing concerns related to defense spending and military readiness.
I think they are doing what OLC and the executive branch has done throughout our history, and that is trying to uphold the Constitution, which, as it has always been interpreted, gives the President final decision on classified information.
Most recently, last week, this Congress moved forward with calling for a commission that would look at the mortgage foreclosure crisis and its contributions to the financial crisis.
My community has been significantly impacted by the mortgage foreclosure crisis, which was a precursor of the financial meltdown that we saw in our financial industry.
I, along with other members of this committee, am concerned about these figures and want to work with the Postal Service to find cost savings and measures that will help maintain the viability of the Post Office in the future.

If legislation similar to H.R. 22 is not passed, the Postal Service may not be able to meet all its financial obligations as soon as September 30th of this year.
