Mr. Chairman, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: In section 4402(a) of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (7 U.S.C. 3007(a)), as added by section 4201 of subtitle C of title IV-- (1) in paragraph (2) strike the close quotation and the period at the end, and (2) add at the end the following: ``(3) Requirement.--Not less than 50 percent of the funds made available to carry out this section in any fiscal year shall be used to provide assistance to seniors.''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 271, the gentlewoman from Ohio (Ms. Kaptur) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Ohio.
