I wanted to mention that both Congressman Joyce and myself share a fresh water coast in the Great Lakes, and we are told that about 22 million pounds of plastic are dumped into the Great Lakes each year, half of which enters Lake Michigan alone, and that is enough to fill 100 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
