Mr. Chair, this Energy and Water bill costs American households, undermines U.S. global leadership, and weakens national security. Sadly, this Republican Energy and Water bill does not meet our Nation's imperative for the future. In closing, I urge my colleagues to oppose this bill. America can do better, and we must lead in the new frontiers of energy and water. We must keep this country secure. Our Nation's future depends on all of these.
