Marcia Fudge: “What makes us a great country is our ability to repair our faults.”

Lead removal is one of the most important things on my priority list.

Lead is a major issue in this country, and we do know that most homes built prior to 1978 have lead paint in them.

We estimate that just from the reduction in the mortgage insurance premium, we are going to help 850,000 people over the next year.

We need a permit and authorization like FEMA does so we can go in immediately and start to help people.
