it just makes sense that we do not suspend testing at all, as this amendment would do. It is bad logic to throw aside almost over 20 reports that give us the history and the institutional knowledge to complete the work for the safety of the consumer and also the people who produce food, fiber, and shelter in this country. I urge a ``no'' vote on this amendment. I yield the floor. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is on agreeing to amendment No. 1023. The yeas and nays have been ordered. The clerk will call the roll.
