I once met him in New York during the Obama years to plead with him to put a leash on some of the crazies he was putting on the air. It was making my job trying to accomplish anything conservative that much harder.

Let me just be clear here. A debt limit increase without any reforms to lower our deficit just isn`t going to cut it.

Even though I didn`t really want to go the direction where the team`s gone, they were the ones who elected me to be the leader, and I had an obligation to go lead them.

I think there’s a point here where the American people are wondering, is the president above the law? The president could have put this whole issue behind us, not put the country and the world through this misery, if he had just told us…
