She has taught public school for 20 years. When she retires next year, she is set to lose $2,000 a month that she has earned because of this provision. She is not alone. As I mentioned, there are over 160,000 others in Ohio and millions across the country. Mr. Speaker, this is the most cosponsored bill in the United States Congress. There are more than 60 Members of the Senate who will pass this bill or at least have said that they will pass this bill. With our vote tonight, it will get sent to the Senate. It will become law. It will make an enormous difference in the lives of working people, public retirees, so that they can pay all of their bills.
