the health care debate continues across America and here in Congress. The question is not whose health care plan will promote a political party, but which plan will help those in need. Fixing what is broken with our health care and not starting over from scratch is truly the most practical solution to this problem. The call by President Clinton for an experiment that could, and very likely will harm the best health care system in the world is a very frightening proposition. In the case of the health care system in the United States the old adage ``you don't miss what you've got until it's gone,'' is certainly true. For example: Imagine not being able to receive the drugs even if you can afford them that could help a serious condition because the Secretary of Health and Human Services does not deem them cost efficient. Mr. Speaker, let us fix America's health care system, not trash it.
