There are many seniors who struggle with the cost of prescription drugs, and I have heard from some individuals who look to purchase drugs from Canada as a way to achieve drastic savings on their prescriptions.
But I also have concerns about these practices and how to protect seniors from illegal pharmacies that may be distributing dangerous drugs.
Last year, the FDA worked with international regulatory and law enforcement agencies to shut down more than 1,600 illegal pharmacy Web sites.
