That drove up housing prices. So what this bill is about is actually enforcing our immigration laws, making certain that we have border protection, and making certain that we remove the people from this country that were not supposed to be here in the first place. That will also continue to drive down housing prices. But again, I agree with the Senator from Oregon. This is about lowering the price of housing. We have already done it. I urge all my colleagues to vote against this amendment.”
