It pains me to be called an antisemite.

Antisemitism is a real issue in this city. And it has been hard to see it weaponized by candidates who do not seem to have any sincere interest in tackling it but rather using it as a pretext to make political points.

It takes a toll to wake up in the morning and read messages that say things like... I get messages that say, 'The only good Muslim is a dead Muslim.'

This is a city that every single person deserves to be in.

To your question of, 'Why not a more visceral reaction,' part of it has been colored by the fact that when I speak, especially when I speak with emotion, I am then characterized by those same rivals as being a monster.

There is no room for antisemitism in this city.

This is fascism, and all New Yorkers must speak in one voice. Release him now.

I will strive to live up to his example by fighting for the working class every day and hopefully, make Brooklyn’s own proud.

As for so many across this country, [Bernie Sanders] has been the single most influential political figure in my life.

To have her endorsement with just a few weeks to go; it’s the perfect time, in fact, to receive that.

The difference between myself and Andrew Cuomo is that my campaign is not funded by the very billionaires who put Donald Trump in D.C.

The government’s job is to actually make lives better

New York City needs a mayor that is willing to fight [and] stand up, because doing so means we can win.

Too often Democrats take an approach where they decide that it’s not even worth trying. And if you do not try, you fail.

What we see from Andrew Cuomo is a desire to fulfill Eric Adams’s second term. It’s the same donors, the same agenda, the same corruption.

Our schools sit at the nexus of so many different parts of our city and so many of the different struggles that we face as a city.

Climate and quality of life are not two separate concerns. They are, in fact, one and the same.

I’m very excited to keep building this campaign until we win this race, and to show New Yorkers they don’t have to choose between the past of a disgraced former governor or the present of a disgraced current mayor.

I’m proud I’ve always stood for consistency and universal human rights.

We talk about freedom, justice, safety for everyone, but suddenly we draw lines about who ‘everyone’ is.

I would never have sent the NYPD onto Columbia’s campus.

Muslim voters want the same thing every community wants—respect and equality.

On this June 24th, we have an opportunity to say that Muslims don’t just belong in New York City. We belong in City Hall.
