Yet our Department of Labor and their programs for job training have insisted that we can give only 6 months of training. Mr. Speaker, the head of the school told me, ``I cannot train anybody for anything in 6 months. But 6 more months and I can do something which is useful, and certainly for 2 years.'' We need job training programs which make sense and are attached to the reality of today, and one reality is that health care, health professions, anything related to health care, is a solid occupation and likely to increase, but that is not there.
