I think we owe it to our constituents to take this one single vote to ensure the middle class won't be held hostage any longer, one vote to give them the economic certainty that they so desperately need now, and one vote to keep our middle class spending and investing in creating jobs for American businesses. But we can't do that, ladies and gentlemen of America, unless our Republican colleagues allow Mr. Walz's bill, which is at our desk right now behind me, up for a vote on this floor. That's why I will vote against the previous question, so that we can come back and have an opportunity to include Mr. Walz's bill in that package. We're here. We're ready. Let's vote.
