Mr. Speaker, by direction of the Democratic Caucus, I offer a privileged resolution and ask for its immediate consideration. The Clerk read the resolution, as follows: H. Res. 764 Resolved, That the following named Members be and are hereby elected to the following standing committee of the House of Representatives: (1) Committee on oversight and government reform.--Mr. Gomez (to rank immediately after Mr. Raskin), Mr. Welch, Mr. Cartwright, Mr. DeSaulnier, Ms. Plaskett, and Mr. Sarbanes. The resolution was agreed to. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
