I find it very encouraging that after a long period of time we are finally getting around to talking about giving a break to the American people, something that they have needed for a long time. I think that issue for many Americans is going to center around what I consider the death tax. Some people call it inheritance tax. Some people call it an estate tax. But it is truly in every sense of the word a death tax. At a point in a person's life when they do not need another emotional blow or financial blow, they have been touched by a circumstance where someone dies. All of a sudden the Government comes in and says, by the way, we are going to add to your misery. What we want to do is disrupt your entire life, and that is especially true for hard-working men and women all over this country.
