About a week ago, when I saw what will forever be known as Ground Zero in New York, my heart ached. My heart ached for those who were afflicted with the pain and suffering, and for those who were going through the rubble and trying to find human life that was left. Now my heart aches for more Americans, people who are out of work, people who are affected, small business owners across this country, because the airline industry is not up and running. It is the people who live in my district who work there as well. I want to help them. I will do all that I can to do that. But before we can put them back to work, we have to put the airlines back in the air. We need to do all we can to make sure that this country continues to move forward. We are going to do what we need to do. I heard the President say that; that not only are we going to rebuild New York and Washington, but we are going to rebuild our economy. That is going to be one brick at a time. As we move forward, we are going to take piece by piece, and this piece is to help put the airline industry back in solvency so we can go forward and put people back to work.
