I am sick of talking about these horse races.

It is so important to understand that these people are all talk. They are all talk. They are negotiating with Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, and Democratic leadership and Democrats are united to that end.

People are going to die. Nobody cares about some election years from now. They care about if their kids can get insulin, if they can put food on the table.

People started to say, if you comply with authoritarianism, we are going to vote with our pocketbook.

The Trump administration… rely on everyone complying in advance out of fear…. we cannot be scared of this administration.

In order to mask that reality, Donald Trump is trying to take control of the media, using extortion style tactics.

Authoritarians rely on the perception of power.

I tried to defeat fascism and bigotry, but today, it was too strong. Even for me.

We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was. His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.

The majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow and the legacy of bigotry.

Are we going to do something or are we going to argue over rhetoric? … We have to pass gun safety legislation and stop this… People can finger point all they want.

The scourge of gun violence and political violence must end. The shooting of Charlie Kirk is the latest incident of this chaos and it must stop. We cannot go down this road.

There is no understanding as we know publicly, of who this individual is, what their motivations were, where they came from. Whether it is a member of Congress, whether it is the president of the United States—to assume and assert, cast…

From the moment I was elected, I have felt that I accept a certain level of risk in doing this job.

If they want Democratic votes, I think we need to have a high price.

I am very concerned about the example that is being set by anybody in our party … if an individual doesn’t want to support the party’s nominee now, it complicates their ability to ask voters to support any nominee later.
