We want to obtain and maximize our Federal grants, including streamlining the review and authorization process for grant work plans by the State's Interim Finance Committee.

Those USCI formulas, the SEAR formulas, they need to be reflective of the events and not necessarily the population in your city at any one point.

We are working to increase that this year.

Last year, I helped secure increased funding for the program to ensure the availability of these grants can keep up with the rapidly growing demand.
