I have a theory that if we required all executives to fly on their planes in the back of the plane, the consumer experience would be much better.

Is United going to cut leg room or looking at doing that?

So I believe that consumers deserve to fly safely and comfortably, particularly at a time when the industry is earning record profits.

I want to make sure that we, at the Federal level, are coordinating and listening with our local governments, our state governments, and the private sector in each community.

I think in Nevada our future is in technology and in promoting technology.

I think there is an opportunity at the Federal level to help incentivize local, state, private sector to come together down a path.

I recently joined Senator Manchin in introducing the 'Rural Wireless Access Act,' which has the support of several of my colleagues.

So I'm from Nevada, and we have challenges like everyone else with respect to access to rural broadband.

Our rural communities are challenged. They do not get the sales tax, property tax, that some of our urban areas get so they rely on PILT and SRS funding.

I am the Senator from Nevada and, as many of my colleagues know and many of you know, Nevada has the largest amount of public lands of any state in the United States.

PILT reductions threaten to undermine plans to restore the Senior Nutrition program in Nye County.

Pets can alleviate social isolation, feelings of loneliness and doctor visits among older adults, especially among individuals who live alone

The program that I was able to ride along with started obtaining pet food to also give to the seniors

Thank you all for being here, and this is such an important topic. I am so happy we are having this conversation.

I do not support any cuts to any funding for Meals on Wheels or any senior programs.

I think it is important to dedicate that funding in a way that everyone can participate.

I do think FinCEN is a critical component of the task force.

Do you think that with respect to North Korea the United States' and Russia's interests may be aligned in terms of constraining North Korea?

I think what's happened is that in the last couple years our position has changed to the point where protecting our critical infrastructure, including the electricity system, is a national security matter.

I have been sitting in a number of these committee hearings addressing cybersecurity threats.

I always feel that education is that first step in prevention in any manner, and we do not do enough of it at times.

I can promise you this--and I spoke to the group that was in my office earlier. This is my commitment: to continue to fight for the funding.

We are going to stop and fight against any cuts to NIH.

To me, that is part of the tragedy of this horrific disease, that I feel that we need to be spending the money for the research for the cure.

This is an area where we should be taking our taxpayer dollars and investing in the future of brain health in this country.
