I can look at this map and tell you off the top of my head how flawed this map is.

I do believe that there is, to create a mechanism within the FCC, so that the data, as it comes and can be analyzed by the FCC, to create sort of a map of issues on a tribe-by-tribe, region-by-region basis.

It is time for a new authority for the Commission, a new direction, new authorities. It is time for a tribal broadband fund.

the lack of comprehensive, easily accessible data on Native youth in the Federal justice system is, frankly, appalling to me.

One of the points I was making here is by using cultural knowledge and traditional practices, many Native youth have been able to successfully reintegrate back into tribal communities and heal their trauma and what they have been through.

I would focus on what you talked about, the smaller tribes that are having the biggest problem.

We cannot push through a weak Federal law that preempts states and leaves consumers, especially children, without the necessary safeguards and protections.

The challenges faced by Native youth in the justice system are significant and require our attention.

We need to hold a separate hearing on what a future framework that protects children should look like.
