I want to make sure that the USDA is fully prepared to assist affected communities, and mitigate potential flood damages before this year's upcoming monsoon season.
I would also just ask that you look closely at FSA, and make sure that they are able to get on the ground.
I hope the committee will look at this, as we have had a number of places around the country where there has been a direct conflict between taking land out of production to do renewable projects.

I agree that providing care for veterans should not come at the expense of other critical domestic programs.
I think it is going to break new ground, and we are going to be able to do some really good projects that should have been addressed decades ago.
I look forward to working together on this year's appropriations to ensure that veterans have access to the benefits, services, and supports they need and earned.
How much will that represent in actual projects? Do you have a dollar figure yet?
We all know that bill didn't include funding for that program, but your Department budget request includes 85 million in new funding for Hardrock Cleanup, something I very much appreciate.
I hope this committee will look closely at this because you know, we are spreading the same resources over more and more tribal THPO offices.
