I believe--I know my colleague from Ohio feels the same way, and we have to be very candid, we have to be very blunt--that the reality is that the effect of the Murray amendment, if it were to pass, would simply kill the underlying bill. We have an opportunity to do something today for unborn victims of violence. We have an opportunity to do something. Or we can do what I see going on far too often in this Chamber, and that is to--I don't know whether it is political gamesmanship, I don't know if it is 'gotcha' policy, I don't know what it is, but it is not about getting something done. We can get something done today. We can pass a clean Unborn Victims of Violence Act.
